Launch of Glasgow City of Science

This week has seen the launch of the visual identity we created for Glasgow City of Science. The initiative will see government, industry and education leaders work together under the Glasgow City of Science brand to encourage interest, education and investment in the science, medicine, technology and engineering sectors.
Nick said: "It has been a privilege for us to be involved in this exciting initiative and we look forward to seeing the brand, and everything it stands for, working towards securing Glasgow's position as a centre of excellence for the science industries"

Ground breaking multimedia presentation for Babcock Rail

Our digital team, JEMdigital, have broken new ground in a multimedia presentation for engineering clients Babcock Rail.
The client required a cutting edge means of presenting their detailed proposals for a large scale rail improvement scheme. Following close liaison with engineers and the technical team at Babcock Rail, our award winning multimedia designer Paul Maguire developed a ground breaking four and a half minute video fly through of the engineering programme and timeline using After Effects software. Chris then integrated this into an animated Flash presentation consisting of over 70 slides.

Many congratulations to all our colleagues at Glasgow City Marketing Bureau on the announcement that GCMB is crowned the Best UK Convention Bureau 2010 for the fourth year running at the M&IT Industry Awards.
As Scott Taylor said to Nick today, "Team Glasgow does it again!"
GCMB have also been congratulated by the Scottish Parliament in a motion lodged by Sandra White MSP "The Parliament applauds everyone at Glasgow City Marketing Bureau for their dedication to and passion for Glasgow...".

Many thanks to all our clients and friends who joined the Maguires 13th birthday celebrations at ABode Glasgow on Friday.
